Our Journey
My background for hydronic systems is unique. Originally from the financial markets with postgraduate degrees in derivatives, I transitioned into this field out of necessity and passion.
In the early 2000s, while building a home near Goulburn, NSW, I realized the local expertise for hydronic heating was lacking. I researched, designed, and installed the system myself. This hands-on experience led me to team up with Frank Eden to found Solar Satisfaction.
With Frank's background in computer programming and a shared desire to make a difference, we've spent years researching and refining designs. From solar thermal and wood boilers to modern heat pumps (our first installed almost 10 years ago in Canberra), we've tested it all.
Innovation & Philosophy
We set high standards. For years, we've insisted on fully insulated concrete slabs for in-slab installations -- a standard overseas that we had to advocate for locally. You can see our insulated slab designs in our gallery.
We champion zoning. Controlling every room independently makes perfect sense for comfort and efficiency, yet it was rarely seen. Dissatisfied with limited market options, we developed our own controller.
Today, we offer our own automated hydronic systems compatible with any manifold. Designed for functionality and ease of installation, our system is smarter than any "smart" thermostat -- delivering effective, efficient heating and cooling.
